Celebrating immersion in the funniest way

Next year, Think Fast Comedy will celebrate its 15th anniversary. To celebrate, we’re launching Immersion sur sur Scène - a national comedy tour that puts French immersion students in the spotlight.

This program welcomes French immersion students on stage with our founder, and improviser, Mat Mailandt. In these unique shows, Mat will visit your school and perform alongside student volunteers, giving them an opportunity to explore French, take creative risks, and crack jokes in front of their peers and teachers en français!

With music, microphones, and tons of energy, it has all of the excitement of a professional comedy production—starring your very own students! It’s a celebration of joyful failure, spontaneous communication, and French immersion itself.
This program is only available to French immersion schools with students in Grades 6 to 12.

Thanks to a partnership with Immersart, this program is being developed with the support from potential grant funding. This means that schools can win big with significantly reduced fees. While funding is not yet secured, the grant portal will open within the next few weeks, and Immersart is aware of the program and excited to support it.

This is a limited run tour, and interest is expected to be high. We currently have limited spots available in Southeastern Ontario, Calgary, Edmonton, and Central Alberta.

Performances will take place in spring 2027, and we will work closely with each school to ensure scheduling fits their needs.
