He teaches comedy at Second City and is a guest faculty member of the Calgary Improv School. He is the former Artistic Director of Calgary Young People's theatre and helped found the Valhalla School of Theatre Arts in New Denver, BC. He founded and ran the Calgary High School Theatresports Championship from 2011-13. He has directed over 20 professional theatre for young audiences productions and taught theatre to thousands of students across North America and Europe. As an actor, he performs with Canada's premiere hip hop comedy act NOTORIOUS, Blank Verse: Shakespeare Improvised and in various film and television projects. Past troupes include Canadian Comedy Award winning On The Spot Improv in Montreal, The Improv Guild in Calgary and The Courtyard Playhouse in Dubai. She can currently be found teaching, producing, and performing improv and sketch comedy across Toronto with her troupes Not Oasis, Mystery Girl and Landline. Anne is a graduate of the Second City’s Conservatory Program and has trained with Keith Johnstone in Calgary, The Bad Dog Theatre in Toronto and the UCB in New York. Anne founded the Montreal Improv Festival (now known as MProv) and is a co-creator of Toronto’s “Date Night Comedy: Totally Worth A Babysitter”. Anne particularly loves working with youth & teens and teaches at high schools across the city & most recently co-directed The Country Day’s School’s first sketch comedy revue. Anne has also worked extensively with corporations seeking to bring the skill sets of improv to the workplace. Anne is a mom and an world- leading expert on stepping on Lego. |
